Manny Gutierrez Chavez awarded Graduate Student award from C-FAHR

He was awarded by C-FAHR at the University of Utah to carry out his independent project “Atención Plena: Cena Conscientemente con la Familia.” These funds will support the study’s implementation-related aims (i.e., determining community-based organizations' interests in the project) after the development of a mindfulness-based intervention aimed at emotional eating and exploring alternative, adaptive strategies to manage negative emotions in the local Latine community.
