Manny Gutierrez Chavez awarded ACBS Inclusive Science Award

He received the Inclusive Science Research Development Grant Award from the Association of Contextual Behavioral Sciences (ACBS) in December 2022. This award is for his research project entitled "Atención Plena: Cena Conscientemente con la Familia" which entails a community-partnered approach to developing and piloting a mindfulness intervention aimed at improving emotional coping strategies and health behaviors in families in the Latine community in Utah.
